Man found dead in roadway on South Houston Lake Road in Warner Robins
Officers were dispatched around 5:50 a.m. to the 600 block of South Houston Lake Road after receiving reports of a male lying in the roadway.
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man was found dead in the roadway early Tuesday morning, according to the Warner Robins Police Department.
Officers were dispatched around 5:50 a.m. to the 600 block of South Houston Lake Road after receiving reports of a male lying in the roadway. When officers arrived, they located a deceased man in the center turn lane.
Because of the location of the body, the department’s Traffic Division responded to investigate the incident.
Authorities said the victim’s identity is still being confirmed and will be withheld pending notification of next of kin.
