Man fatally hit attempting to cross Houston Lake Road
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is dead after he was hit by a car while trying to cross the street.
The incident happened around 10:33 P.M., Monday.
According to a news release, 77-year-old Richard King was attempting to cross Houston Lake Road outside of a crosswalk when he was hit by a Honda Civic driven by 62-year-old Jerry Chambers.
King was taken to the hospital where he later died.
No charges have been made at this time, but the accident is still under investigation.
