Man dies after shot, dumped on downtown connector
ATLANTA (AP) – Police say man has died after he was shot and pushed out of a moving car on the downtown connector in Atlanta.
Atlanta Police spokesman officer Lukas Sajdak says the man was shot in the chest Wednesday and was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The man was dumped on northbound lanes of Interstate 75/85 just south of I-20.
WSB-TV reports that the man’s body was pushed out in front of ambulance.
Police have not released the name of the victim.
Several lanes on the downtown connector northbound were shut down just before I-20.
