Man Dies After Losing Control Of Vehicle On Interstate

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man is dead after he lost control of his truck while trying to exit off of Interstate 475 in Macon.

In a news release, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says the driver, 34 year old Jittendra Patel, lost control of his Nissan Frontier as he was trying to exit at the northbound Thomaston Road exit. Patel went off the exit ramp and hit a tree.

The accident happened around 10:18 Thursday night.
