Man dead after Wheeler County wreck on Highway 19
ALAMO, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Newton County man is dead after crashing into a semi truck in Wheeler County.
It happened Saturday afternoon around 2:00 on highway 19 near Glenwood.
Sheriff Maurice Johnson says Bobby Parsons was driving southbound and crashed head on into the 18-wheeler. Parsons was trapped inside the car. He was airlifted to a Macon hospital where he later died.
The driver of the semi truck was not injured.
