Man Dead After Motorcycle Accident on I-16

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Dry Branch man is dead after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing into a light pole, according to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones.

23 year old Jason Head was reportedly riding a 2008 Honda motorcycle at high speed, when he lost control and and crashed near near the I-16, I-75 split in Macon. Emergency crews were on the scene, and traffic was backed up for hours.

Head leaves behind a wife, who is a local beautician.
