Man Behind Bars After Stealing From Downtown Macon
Macon police arrest a man for stealing from the city of Macon.
Police noticed 28-year old Joseph Neal Moser around the 4300 block of Broadway, pushing a wheelbarrow with lawn mower engines, air conditioning coils, and two large pieces of sewer pipe stamped with the ‘City of Macon’.
When questioned by officers, Moser changed his story several times, but then admitted to stealing the items from downtown.
Police say Moser attempted to bribe an officer with money in exchange for his freedom.
Moser is charged with obstruction, bribery, and theft by receiving stolen property.
He is being held at the Bibb LEC.
