Man Arrested in Connection with Waffle House Murder
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man was arrested Wednesday morning in connection with the murder of Christopher Crowder at a Chambers Road Waffle House early last month.
According a MPD news release, 20-year-old Devonte Quashawn Haywood was booked for murder stemming from the incident that originally took place on December 9th. He was taken to the Bibb County LEC.
Crowder, also 20-years-old, was found in the Waffle House parking lot that night with a gunshot wound to the face, but was unresponsive. Bibb County coroner Leon Jones pronounced him dead at the scene.
