Man arrested in connection with Milledgeville armed robbery

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Milledgeville police arrested and charged a man in connection with an armed robbery at Wireless Express.

Police tell 41NBC Darron Saunders was arrested and charged with two counts of armed robbery, possession of a firearm by convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

He was found in a car at the Pecan Hill Apartments. Once detectives took his car into custody, they found a small amount of marijuana and a gun.

After police found those items, Saunders was additionally charged with possession of marijuana less than an ounce and possession of a firearm of a felon.
