Man arrested for murder in Fort Valley

Fort Valley Police arrested Dexter Oliver for the murder of Micah Mccant.

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man was arrested for murder in Fort Valley, according to the Fort Valley Police Department.

Fort Valley PD responded to a call about a person shot and possibly hit by a vehicle at the Royal Town Homes on May 26.

When deputies arrived, they found a man lying in the parking lot and bleeding from an unknown area. Several people were offering life saving aid, according to a press release.

The man was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The victim was later identified as Micah Mccant.
