Man Arrested For Burglary in Macon
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is behind bars after Macon police say he attempted to break into a building on Walnut Street and then gave officers the wrong name.
Police responded to the alarm activation Monday just after midnight.
When police arrived on the scene, they found a broken window and the back door open. Raymond Romback was sitting in front of the next building. He told police his name was Joseph Freeman, and said he didn’t know the alarm had gone off.
Further investigation determined that Romback had dust from the window ledge on his coat. He was transported to the Bibb County LEC. He is charged with burglary, false information, criminal trespass, and forgery.
