Man arrested for burglary at mattress store, tampering with AC units
The suspect is 39-year-old Tye Alan Tyson of Macon.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man in connection with a burglary at Great Furniture & Mattress on Monday.
Deputies responded to a call at 10:15 a.m. at Great Furniture & Mattress which is located at 3423 Pio Nono Avenue.
Witnesses reported an unknown man on top of the business. Deputies discovered a ladder at the back of the business. The suspect was tampering with the business air conditioning units.
The deputy took the suspect into custody and recovered tools in the suspect’s possession.
The suspect is 39-year-old Tye Alan Tyson of Macon.
Tyson was transported to Investigation Headquarters and later transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
Tyson was charged with felony second degree burglary and probation violation. Tyson is being held without bond.
