Man arrested for burglary at Cube Smart Storage in Macon
It was reported that multiple units were broken into when the business experienced loss of power, due to the recent hurricane.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man was arrested on October 10 in connection with the burglary of a commercial business in Macon that happened on October 9, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to Cube Smart Storage, which is located at 400 Pio Nono Avenue, on October 9. It was reported that multiple units were broken into when the business experienced loss of power, due to the recent hurricane.
On October 10, deputies saw a man driving a motorcycle south on Pio Nono Avenue without a license plate. Deputies attempted a traffic stop, but the motorist refused to stop, leading deputies on a brief pursuit. The motorist lost control of his motorcycle and attempted to flee on foot, but deputies apprehended the suspect.
Deputies recovered several burglary tools and items in the suspect’s possession that connected him with the Cube Smart Storage burglary while investigating the man.
The suspect was identified as 42-year-old Thomas William Davis. Davis was transported to a medical facility for treatment of injuries sustained from losing control of his motorcycle.
On October 11, Davis was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
Davis faces charges of felony second degree burglary, felony fleeing and eluding a law enforcement officer, misdemeanor obstruction, giving false information to law enforcement officers, and possession of tools for commission of crime. His bond was denied.
