Man arrested for armed robbery, aggravated assault in Fort Valley
Officers responded to the 100 block of Molette Street in response to an armed robbery.

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A man was arrested for armed robbery and aggravated assault in Fort Valley that took place on September 6, according to Chief of Police DJ Flores.
Officers responded to the 100 block of Molette Street in response to an armed robbery. The victim told officers he was approached by a man who demanded his wallet.
The victim showed the man his wallet, which only contained Mexican currency. The man became upset and pushed the wallet back to the victim.
The victim walked away and went into his residence, then the man shot a single gunshot towards the victim. The gunshot struck the victim’s front door.
Officers arrested 49-year-old Eric McLemore for robbery and aggravated assault.
