Man arrested after car chase in Monroe County, wanted for armed robbery and carjacking
At 4:10 p.m. on April 5, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office was contacted by the Butts County Sheriff's Office regarding a BOLO for a white Honda sedan missing its front bumper.

MONROE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man was arrested Saturday after a brief car chase, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
At 4:10 p.m. on April 5, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Butts County Sheriff’s Office regarding a BOLO for a white Honda sedan missing its front bumper.
At 4:20 p.m., deputies spotted the Honda and attempted a traffic stop. The suspect in the Honda led deputies on a chase for about three minutes before stopping.
The driver was identified as 40-year-old Justin Tocknell. Deputies later learned that Tocknell was wanted by the Stockbridge Police Department for aggravated assault/battery, armed robbery, and carjacking from the Walmart in Stockbridge. The incident occurred at 3:15 p.m. on April 5.
According to the news release, Tocknell had been released from Central State Prison on March 4 after serving time for aggravated assault on a police officer.
Tocknell was taken to the Monroe County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
