Malik Brown Arrested for Assaulting Telegraph Photographer

The man who attacked Macon Telegraph photographer, Woody Marshall on Thursday outside of city hall turned himself in to Macon Police.

Warrants were signed for 28-year-old Malik Brown’s arrest after his statement given to the police Friday afternoon.

Brown was arrested for simple assault and battery. He is at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

State Senator Robert Brown provided Macon Police with a statement. He says he is not related to Malik Brown, nor is the attacker a part of his group. Senator Brown also stated that Malik Brown got no direction from him and that his actions were his own.
