Maker of ‘The Fifth Wave’ hire a structural engineer to look at damages
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – ‘The Fifth Wave’ movie-makers are trying to make things right after a scene didn’t go exactly as planned.
After an explosion was much larger than expected, Macon-Bibb Commissioners advised the company to hire a structural engineer to look at the damage.
The engineer is inspecting the old buildings in downtown near Cotton Avenue.
The findings will be included in the full film report for commissioners at their committee meeting next week.
The production company is paying for all of the damages.
