Major Drug Dealer in Houston County Sentenced To 45 Years In Prison

Houston County District Attorney George Hartwig is trying to send a strong message to drug dealers today after a major drug dealer pleaded guilty in Superior Court.

Thomas Alvin Taylor was charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of cocaine with Intent to distribute and Possession of a firearm during a crime. He was sentenced to 45 years, with 20 years to serve in prison, and fined $200,000.

District Attorney George Hartwig stated “sell drugs in Houston County and you will end up in prison!”

Taylor was arrested on May 12th by Warner Robin Police Department after police seized more than 62 grams of cocaine. Authorities also found crack cocaine stashed under the couch and the kitchen stove.
