Macon’s H&H restaurant showcases local musicians on historic wall

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – One of downtown Macon’s restaurants is celebrating Macon’s music history in a big way.  H&H Soul Food restaurant has a music wall with some of the city’s famous musicians.  The Allman Brothers, who started in Macon, are just one of the acts with their plaques on the wall.

General Manager Timothy Chambliss says Macon has always been the center of music and rock n’ roll and the wall represents the history.

“We support music, we support the history of music and we support mama Louise and all the wonderful things she’s done for the artists in the community here in Macon,” adds Chambliss.

The Moonhanger Group bought H&H two years ago and renovated the historic restaurant.  It’s been open since 1959.
