Macon Zaxby’s Employee Held Up and Hit in the Face

Bibb County Investigators are looking for the person who held up a Zaxby’s employee, hit the victim in the faceand took off with store money.  Saturday just before 10am, the restaurant employee made a business transaction at the Sun Trust bank inside Publix on Tom Hill Senior Boulevard in North Macon.

When the victim got in his car, the suspect came up with a gun and demanded money. When the victim refused, the suspect hit him in the face with his gun, grabbed the bank bags and ran.  The employee got minor injuries. 

Deputies later recovered the suspects vehicle. This incident is under investigation, if you have any information call 1-877-68-CRIME.
