Macon Water Authority warns residents about traffic delays

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon Water Authority (MWA) is warning residents that a water main break is going to cause some traffic delays over the next few hours on Mercer University Drive.

The 8-inch water main break is along Mercer University Drive, near Wellworth Avenue and Edna Place.

MWA says Mercer University Drive will have only one lane of traffic flowing in each direction, possibly through tomorrow morning.

You should find alternate routes and avoid the area.
