Macon Water Authority Postpones Shutoff on College Street

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – If you live on College Street in Macon prepare to be without water for several hours on Friday as the Macon Water Authority clean the water mains in the area.

Wednesday, the Macon Water Authority announced that they would be replacing the hydrants in front of The Massee Apartments. However inclement weather conditions delayed the process.

According to Support Services Manager, Darryl Massey, the water shutoff will pick back up on Friday and it should not last more than 5 hours beginning at 8:30am.
