Macon Traffic Accident Sends 5 to Hospital

A traffic accident on Millerfield Road in Macon sends five people to the hospital Tuesday. Just before noon, 36-year-old Terry Whitehead’s van stalled in traffic with four passengers inside. While the van was coasting tractor trailer operator, Jonnie White, hit the van.

Everyone in the van was transported to the Medical Center. 13-year-old Terry Whitehead is in stable but serious condition with a ruptured spleen. 16-year-old Melissa Johnson was partially ejected from the van and has massive head trauma and is listed in critical condition.

This accident is still under investigation.
