MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – It was an exciting and history-making Week 3 of the high school football season, and several players from Bibb County stood out under the lights. The Macon Touchdown Club has released its three top performers from last week’s action.

The Backs of the Week are Central Fellowship Christian Academy senior running back and defensive back Judson Walls and Northeast freshman quarterback Jordan Wiggins.

Walls reached the end zone four times in the Lancers’ 32-26 victory over St. Andrews Academy. He rushed 16 times for 180 yards and two touchdowns, while also catching two passes for 90 yards and two more scores. On defense, Walls added two interceptions.

Wiggins, the son of Northeast’s head coach Jeremy Wiggins, threw for 214 yards and three touchdowns while completing 11 of 15 passes in the Raiders’ 32-0 shutout win over Washington County. He also carried the ball eight times for 40 yards, finishing with 254 total yards.

The Lineman of the Week is ACE junior linebacker William Winters, who recorded 20 tackles and four tackles for loss in the Gryphons’ 33-12 win over Jefferson County.

The Touchdown Club will return next week to the Methodist Home for Children in Macon for its weekly awards and speeches. Former NFL player and ESPN analyst Mark Schlereth will be the season’s first speaker September 8.
