Macon Teen Recovering After Being Shot on Lamont Street
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon teenager is recovering after being shot this afternoon on Lamont Street.
Macon Police spokesperson Jami Gaudet says Precinct 3 officers responded to a person shot at 1174 Lamont Street and made contact with the victim. He apprised the officers that a white vehicle drove down the street and he was shot once in the back. He was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia for treatment.
The 18-year-old is in stable condition, and right now no other details are being released as the investigation continues.
