Macon restaurant robbed at gunpoint

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for an armed robbery suspect accused of taking cash from a Macon restaurant.

According to a news release, an armed masked man walked into the Tai-wan restaurant located at 2525 Pio Nono Avenue around 10:07 p.m., Tuesday. He then demanded money from the cash register. Once he received an unknown amount of cash he fled the scene.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black shirt and black shorts.
