Macon Residents Share ‘Aha Moments’ in National Ad Campaign
Mutual of Omaha is touring the U.S. for the third year in a row looking for people to share their ‘aha moments’. They are stopping in 25 cities and Macon is one of the lucky ones.
“If you have something that’s happened to you that’s helped you open your eyes, I think that’s really cool if you could share it with other people,” says fashion blogger, Megan DeLong.
These defining moments can be big or small, happy or sad, but tour manager Jessica Henry says they are all life changing.
“We’ve seen the power of ‘aha moments’ changing people, and changing communities and so Mutual of Omaha wants to capture those and really inspire people’s possibilities.”
For DeLong, her ‘aha moment’ was simply remembering to enjoy her life.
“It’s helped me re-prioritize, to remember that I don’t have to pour all of my energy into one thing.”
Macon residents are hoping their ‘aha moments’ will encourage others to transform their lives. The bus will be at the Shoppes at River Crossing tomorrow from 11 am to 7 pm for anyone who wants to share their story.
