Macon residents, businesses experience water outages after water main break

Residents and businesses in Macon dealt with water outages Wednesday after a water main break.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Residents and businesses in Macon dealt with water outages Wednesday after a water main break.

The 16-inch water main repair took several hours.

According to Macon Water Authority, approximately 45 customers were impacted, including businesses like Macon Water Ice. Residents living in the Dannenberg, Broadway and Lee Lofts also experienced water outages or low water pressure at times during the repair process.

MWA deployed a team of technicians to the site to assess the damage and begin repairs.
