Macon Regional Crimestoppers celebrates 25 years, thousands of cases cleared in Middle Georgia

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon Regional Crimestoppers marked 25 years of helping solve crimes and keep communities safe across Middle Georgia.
The nonprofit began in November 2000 as a partnership between law enforcement, local media and the community. The organization offers cash rewards to people who provide tips that lead to arrests.
So far this year, Crimestoppers reports 120 arrests, 270 warrants served and 273 cases cleared. They have paid out $24,190 in rewards in 2025.
Since the program began, there have been 6,908 arrests, 13,832 warrants served and 11,974 cases cleared. A total of $1,192,880 in rewards has been paid out.
Crimestoppers notes that all tipsters remain anonymous.
