Macon Pops Christmas Spectacular to take place in Downtown Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The Macon Pops Christmas Spectacular is taking place in Downtown Macon. The event is November 29 at 6 p.m.

Macon Pops Co-Founder, President and CEO, Steve Moretti, says the event is free and open to the public. Moretti says there were nearly 27,ooo attendees in 2023, and he expects the same turnout this year.

“This year we have two new songs,” says Moretti. “We’ll be up to around 32 to 34 songs in total.”

Moretti recommends attendees bring lawn chairs or a blanket for the show.

Macon Pops is selling “Spectacular” t-shirts to help raise funds for the organization. Youth shirts are $20 and adult shirts are $30.

The Macon Christmas Light Extravaganza light show will be in Downtown Macon from November 29 through January 3. The light show will be every night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

There will be more than 1 million lights spread across Downtown Macon.
