Macon Police Searching for Suspects in Armed Robbery

Macon police are investigating a late evening armed robbery.

According to Sergeant Fred Carmichal, a 911 call came in around 8:40 tonight from the Citgo convenience store on the corner of Concord and Broadway.

Carmichal says, two men entered the store armed with handguns. No customers were in the store when the incident happened, and no one was hurt. Police say the suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
