Macon Police Searching For Hotel Robbery Gunman

Ramada Inn - 6MACON, Georgia (41 NBC/WMGT) – Macon police are looking for a man wanted for robbing a hotel.

According to a news release, the suspect entered the Ramada Inn of Chambers Road around 2 a.m. Wednesday, September 5th. The clerk and another person were behind the counter when the robber pulled out a handgun and demanded money.

Police say the suspect is a black male and was wearing dark color shorts, a dark short sleeve shirt and dark shoes. The victims say his face was covered with a bandana and his hair appeared unruly.

During the time of the robbery, police say another person in the area saw a light skin black man running across the parking lot toward Eisenhower Parkway.
