Macon Police Searching for Armed Robbery Suspect

MACON,Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon police need your help to find a man wanted for armed robbery.

According to a press release, the robbery happened at the Domino’s Pizza parking lot off Columbus Road around 2 a.m. Sunday. Police say a delivery man went to his car to get delivery receipts. He was sitting inside the vehicle when an unknown black man wearing dark colors and an orange bandana covering his face pointed a handgun at him and said, “Give me everything.”

The driver complied and the suspect also took his keys. The suspect ran away on foot towards Mercer University Drive outside the city limits.

The victim says as the suspect was running away, he misfired the handgun at the ground, but no one was injured.
