MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon Police are responding to a fatal accident at the I-16, I-75 split this afternoon.

Preliminary information indicates that a motorcyclist lost control just before 2pm.

Two lanes of traffic are closed, and police ask that you avoid the area.
