Macon Police Officer Officially Resigns Amid Charges

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Macon Police officer charged with drug possession and child endangerment is no longer working for the department.

According to a news release, 27-year-old Kontrina Toomer officially resigned. Last week, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office seized 11 ounces of marijuana, a handgun, and $4000 from Toomer’s home.
