Macon Police Looking for Two Suspects in Convenience Store Armed Robbery

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon Police are looking for two suspects in a Thursday night robbery at a Walnut Street convenience store.

According to a release, officers responded to Corner Grocery at 2057 Walnut Street just after 9 p.m. Thursday regarding an armed robbery.

When officers arrived, employees told them as they were preparing to close the store, two black males entered dressed in black wearing ski masks and gloves.

One suspect pointed a black handgun at the two employees and demanded money, while the other went around the counter and took money from the register.  The suspects then fled on foot up Walnut Street toward Ward Street.
