Macon Police Investigate Shooting on Pio Nono Avenue

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon police are investigating a shooting that happened on
Pio Nono Avenue Sunday morning.

According to a news release, a 38-year-old woman was shot in the neck near the 19-00 block around 1:30 a.m..

When officers arrived, her husband was assisting her.

Officials say there are no witnesses and no further information is available at this time,
