Macon Police Find Body in Vacant Home

Police found a body on Monday behind a vacant home in south Macon.

Macon police identified 49-year-old Elwood Solomon.

Friends and family say they last saw Solomon on Saturday around 11PM at his house located on 515 Moreland Avenue. He was found Monday morning just blocks from his house at 3977 DeSoto Drive.

According to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones, an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday to determine the cause of death. The investigation is ongoing,
however no foul play is suspected.
