Macon Police Arrest Several For Drugs And Illegal Possession

 MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon Police Narcotics Unit made several arrests after finding marijuana and guns inside a Radio Drive home.

According to a news release from MPD, along with the marijuana, officers confiscated scales, a shot gun, shot gun shells, a round of 7.62 ammo, a bag of unknown white pills, and surveillance equipment.

Four men were arrested and face various charges. Those charges range from possession of drugs, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, probation violation, and giving false information to Law Enforcement.

The men arrested were Lorenzo Simmons, Maurice Wills, Markiva Cox, and Contezs Burns. Three others were charged with being present where drugs are kept or sold. They are Nortory Rainey, Gregory Bowens, and Temiko Mahone.
