Macon Police Arrest Robbery Suspect

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Macon police announced today at a press conference that they have arrested a man wanted for armed robbery. Devarious Lockett was arrested on Monday and charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm. According to police, Lockett robbed someone on July 30th on Rocky Creek Road.

Lockett was arrested in June for unrelated charges. Authorities believe Lockett might be involved in more incidents in Macon.

“We have more warrants pending for his arrest; we can’t get into the details of those cases. Those cases are still on going, but we will have more warrants coming down on him,” said Lt. Robert Spires, Macon Police.
