Macon Police Arrest Four After Krystals Robbery, Looking for Fifth Suspect

Macon Police received a call just before midnight Sunday, in reference to an armed robbery in progress at the Krystal Restaurant on Pio Nono.

The suspects took a cash register from the restaurant, along with the cell phones of each worker.

Officers were given a description of the vehicle, and found it soon after driving at a high rate of speed. The suspects threw the cash register and a gun out the window of the car. While police were chasing the vehicle, the suspects crashed their car into a stop sign, and then began running. Police arrested and charged the four for armed robbery, but believe a fifth suspect is still at large.
