Macon Para Todos to host ‘Paint and Play’

'Paint and Play' is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on December 7 at Cotton Avenue Square.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon Para Todos is hoping to engage the Hispanic community with an upcoming event in Downtown Macon.

Event organizer, Laura Gomez, says she moved to Macon from Colombia and noticed the lack of diversity in Downtown Macon. Gomez says she loves Downtown Macon and hopes to make it more inclusive with her event.

‘Paint and Play’ is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on December 7 at Cotton Avenue Square.

Gomez says she encourages participants to register, but if not, they can still show up.

The event is aimed at families with children ages 4 to 18. Gomez says there will be prizes, snacks, and fun.
