Macon Mayor Honors Caregivers

Macon Mayor Robert Reichert declares December “National Caregivers Month.”  This year, it’s the 10th anniversary of the national family caregiver support program, which helps educate and give general support for those who take care of their loved ones.

“Whether you’re a professional caregiver or a family member that’s giving care, the service that is being rendered in invaluable,” says Mayor Reichert.

Today the mayor also commended local workers with the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving for their service.
