Macon man shot while riding his bicycle

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting that happened on Broadway in Macon, Monday morning.

According to a news release, deputies responded to Magnolia Court Hotel on Pionono Avenue, where 37-year-old Rusty Dial was sitting outside with a gunshot wound in the back of his neck.

Dial told deputies he was riding his bike on Broadway when he was shot. He says he didn’t see anything of hear a gunshot.

He was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in stable condition. His injuries are not life threatening.
