Macon Man rams car into church, leaves children in car
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says he had three children in the 1999 Ford Expedition with him, including a 1-year-old girl, and two boys ages three and five.
It happened just before midnight Saturday night.
King ran away from the accident after it happened, leaving the children in the car.
They were taken to the hospital.
Two children have been released, while the 3-year-old boy is in stable condition.
Deputies found King at a hospital Sunday morning and questioned him.
King faces three counts of cruelty to children charges in the first degree, as well as a probation violation and a theft by taking charge that doesn’t have to do with the accident.
King’s bond is $29,400.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office will continue to investigate.
