Macon man confesses to Capital Avenue shooting
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man confessed to Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators following a standoff with deputies.
Tuesday, 18-year-old, Malcom Darnell Houston of Macon told investigators he shot Leonard Spivey in both of his legs, Monday, around 2 p.m., in the 4300 block of Capital Avenue.
When deputies arrived at the shooting scene, witnesses said a man, involved in the shooting, barricaded himself inside a nearby duplex.
Bibb County Sheriff’s SWAT team was called to the scene. Houston along with several other suspects voluntarily surrendered to deputies without incident.
Houston is charged with one count of aggravated assault and one count of felony probation violation.
