Macon Man Charged With Murder For Double Homicide

lowery lanierMACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man is now charged with murder after police considered him a person of interest in the double homicide that happened last Thursday.

According to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center website, Rodney Lanier Lowery is now charged with felony murder and parole violation.

Macon police considered Lowery a person of interest last week and asked for the public’s help to find him.

Lowery is charged with killing 26-year-old Antonio Fluellen and 25-year-old Deundra Emory on August 30th in East Macon. Police arrived at a home off Cowan Street and found Fluellen dead at the scene while Emory was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he later died.

Lowery is in jail and according to the Bibb County LEC website, there is no bond amount.
