Macon man arrested in connection with overdose death

Bibb County investigators arrested 29-year-old Travion Lorenzo Veal for the death of 34-year-old Joshua Owen Negri on April 25.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Macon man with murder.

Bibb County investigators arrested 29-year-old Travion Lorenzo Veal for the death of 34-year-old Joshua Owen Negri on April 25.

Investigators say they were able to identify Veal in connection with the overdose (Fentanyl) death of Negri. He was already in the Bibb County Jail for charges of possession of controlled substance.

Veal is being held without bond.
