Macon Man Arrested for Having Child Porn
A Macon man is arrested and charged for having child pornography in his possession. He was caught in the statewide “Operation Innocent Justice.”
Tuesday three computers were seized from 32-year-old Michael Mandt’s home on Ayers Road. Friday he was arrested for possession of child pornography.
“Operation Innocent Justice” has been a special initiative to stop child pornography offenders. More than 36 law enforcement agencies from across the state are involved.
Possession or distribution of child pornography is a federal offense, and Mandt could face up to 20 years in prison.
