Macon Man Arrested for Armed Robbery in North Bibb County

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A Macon man is arrested for an armed robbery that took place Friday, May 3 in North Bibb County.

The Middle Georgia Regional Fugitive Task Force and Macon Police Department’s Strike Team arrested 24-year-old Kenneth Antonio Gainey. He faces charges of Armed Robbery, Car Jacking, Criminal Attempt to Commit Armed Robbery, and Aggravated Assault.

MPD also had warrants for a separate incident involving Gainey. Investigators are still trying to identify a second suspect in the incident.
